I chose pen and ink as my outlet for creativity after realizing I could not see some shades of red and green. My father was a draftsman and influenced my love of detail. He taught me to focus and do all things right. I did my first ink drawing at age 6. I start with a pencil sketch from photos or old engravings followed by ink using a fine point Rapidograph. Buildings and homes with beauty and architectural interest are my subjects of choice, but my favorite is a panoramic view of any picturesque old city in Europe.
