temporary painting

Helen Knapp

Helen Knapp's objective, as an artist, is to "capture that fleeting moment of beauty, that sunlit landscape, that innocent or wise face and share it with the viewer." For Helen, the thrill of working in pastels is not the "sure confident stroke but the continuous experimentation. "

Helen received her BA degree from Adelphi University, her ADE from Sturt University in Adelaide, Australia and her MA degree from William Patterson University. "I never am completely finished with a painting but instead always see room for improvement. This allows me to constantly grow and strive for the perfect painting, the perfect impression, the perfect expression of manís emotions."
